Meshal: All options against Israel are open, including war
Hamas political leader Khaled Meshal said on Saturday that all options against Israel remain open, including war, Channel 10 news reported. "We will do everything to obtain the rights stolen from us, including confrontation with the enemy," he told journalists. Meshal was meeting with senior members of Palestinian terrorist organizations, including Ahmed Jibril, the head of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
Mashaal: There are possibilities for war in every scenario
Hamas Politburo chief Khaled Mashaal said Saturday after meeting with Palestinian factions leaders in Damascus that "the possibilities for war exist all over the region and in every scenario." He futher added, "We shall realize our right by standing firm in the face of aggression through resistance."

Putin signs energy deals with Chavez on Venezuela visit

'Iran got gear from Chinese firm'
Iran recently managed to obtain equipment critical to its uranium enrichment efforts, and which is banned by UN sanctions against the country, through a Chinese company, The Wall Street Journal reported Saturday. According to the report, the hardware – which included valves and vacuum gauges for enrichment centrifuges – was bought by an Iranian research firm which is linked to the country’s atomic energy organization. It was purchased from an intermediary representing a Chinese company - Zheijiang Ouhai Trade Corp.
US: No military solution to conflict
The US State Department released a statement Friday night intended to calm the spirits in Israel and the Gaza Strip following the recent upsurge in violence there. State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley told reporters there was no “military solution” to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. "The Israelis have a right to self-defense. At the same, as we've said many times, we don't ultimately think there is a military solution to this,” he said.
