Why Call Him The Beast?

Q. Why is the Anti-Christ called the Beast?

 

A. When used metaphorically, the Greek word translated beast in Rev. 13:1 describes a brutal or ferocious man. Scholars agree that this description suits the anti-Christ, although at the beginning he will look to the world to be anything but that.
