The Iranian president said on Friday there will be no room for Israel in the region after the formation of a Palestinian state, and that once the state is established, the liberation of all Palestinian lands should follow. -"Recognition of a Palestinian state is the first step in the liberation of the entire Palestine," he added.

The Tornadoes took off from RAF Marham in Norfolk on a long-range strike mission on Thursday night. Islamic Jihad announced a new cease-fire agreement in the Gaza Strip early Friday morning, according to sources in Gaza quoted by Israel radio. The agreement was reportedly brokered by Egypt and the UN. The report added that the cease-fire was already in effect.
