In Propehcy: A bad habit prophecy writers have is to make a Point of Fact then Add a Point of View.
1. POF = Point of Fact is that which can be proven or debated about a Scripture
2. POV = Point of View is that which is speculated on “based” usually on a POF but has not ability to stand on scripture alone, or to reach the “point of view” without someone introducing it to you.
Jack Kelley uses POF to answer a question and adds point of view about New Jerusalem which is not widely believed but is his perssonal opinion and has no scripture to validate his timing of New Jerusalem. In fact, he contradicts popular prophecy teaching about New Jerusalem.
His Answer on Rapture etc yes, on Occupying New Jerusalem during any of Trib: No. He does not hold to a “Time Differentiation Concept” as Chuck Missler and others do. –The Prophetic Perspective
Who Goes Where And When?
Q. I recently read your article about the pre trib rapture in which you seemed to indicate that all the people with the exception of Israel will either be destroyed or cast off the earth after the rapture. Perhaps I read it wrong. If not what about the tribulation saints?
A. Here’s how it will work. The Church will be raptured before the end times judgments begin and will go to live in the New Jerusalem. All people who become believers after the Church leaves but die before the Lord returns will be resurrected at the time of the 2nd Coming along with believing Jews of Old Testament times.
Believers who survive the Great Tribulation will go into the Millennium in their natural states and will repopulate Planet Earth. Jews will go to Israel, Gentiles to the nations.
All surviving unbelievers will be taken off the planet just after the 2nd Coming. Unbelievers from all ages will be resurrected at the end of the Millennium to face the Great White Throne judgment.
