25 symptoms that argue that America has a fatal disease

On April 18, 2012 · Comments Off

I think America has gone past the point of no return. I see no political solutions to the problems because the problems are really a result of the immorality of the people. Just changing some of the government overseers for a slightly different set of government overseers will just bring upon us a different set of problems. It will not cure the fatal disease of mortal rot that is now so evidently being displayed throughout our society.

Here are 25 symptoms that argue that America has a fatal disease:

1. Race and class hatred is rising dramatically in America because many people covet what others have and believe that those living today owe them something for what happened to their ancestors. Most people in the US claim to be Christian but many have no regard at all for the tenth commandment. Covetousness brings about social evils that brings about wars and conflicts. God said that all covetousness is sin. If you have need of anything ask God for it. Christians are not to obsess over what our neighbors have. Occupying until Jesus comes is not coveting what others have.

New evangelicalism usually also means denying Bible inerrancy

On April 12, 2012 · Comments Off

I recently read the book “New Evangelicalism“, by Paul Richard Smith, founder of Calvary Chapel Victorville CA. Paul Smith is a leader in the Calvary Chapel movement founded by his brother Chuck Smith, who also wrote the foreword to Paul Smith’s book.

The book gives a brief history of modern Protestantism beginning with modernism where scripture became critically analyzed through the filters of the philosophies of 19th and early 20th century humanist intellectuals. This humanistic intellectual analysis of the scriptures became known as “higher criticism”. I took one of those silly “higher criticism” courses in college myself.

I will give you my own take on modernism; most of what I will say about modernism in Christianity does not come from Paul Smith’s book, but from what I read in his book, I think Paul Smith would agree with most of it.

There hasn’t been much change in the big world picture since last month. The big march on Jerusalem that many Arabs nations were supposed to participate in did not even make the major news medias. That proves that hate indoctrination only goes so far as a motivator. Most Arabs in the Middle East only really care about Jerusalem if there is some payoff for them.

Assad will not be leaving Syria anytime soon despite what the Obama Administration said. No one wants to take on Syria because Assad has Russian and Chinese backing. Nothing would get through the UN, and I do not think NATO will go it alone with Russia threatening a response if they should do so. If NATO moves against Syria or Iran, I expect Russia to respond in Georgia.

If Bible prophecy will be fulfilled, why expect worldly solutions?

On March 23, 2012 · 55 Comments

American Christians who are aware of Bible prophecy should not be surprised or unduly concerned by the lawlessness and insanity that we are seeing in our nation and the world. If we believe Bible prophecy will be fulfilled in our generation why would we now expect America or the world to come up with solutions for a world that will prove to be doomed without Jesus?

Why should we expect the prophecies about what would happen in the last days, to not happen, if we are indeed in the last days? If these things were not already happening before our eyes, I would have to question my own presumption that the prophetic scriptures about the end of the age will be totally fulfilled within a couple of decades. We are living in the times that the prophets longed to see, it is really not a time for panic or despair for believers looking for the Lord’s return. On the contrary, look up for your redemption draws near.

Insider Guide to Modern Protestant Christian Banalities and Names

On March 16, 2012 · 48 Comments

American Christians sometimes talk in banalities and often the names and phrases that they use do not always give people a correct thought-for-thought translation. Seekers coming into our American seeker-friendly Christian churches might like to know some insider information. The following is a short insider guide to help people understand some of the verbiage of modern Protestant Christendom.

Insider Guide to Modern Protestant Christian Banalities and Names

Amen? (by the preacher) — I want everyone that I am preaching at to say amen

Amen (by someone in the pews) — I want the preacher and everyone else in the church building to know that I agree

The death of outspoken conservative Andrew Breitbart last week was quite a shock especially since he was telling everyone that something would be unveiled on March 1st about Obama that would be the beginning of the end for Obama. Breitbart collapsed and died while walking home from a bar shortly after midnight on the morning of March 1st.

Andrew Breitbart was only 43 but thus far police are saying that he died of natural causes. An autopsy has been performed but they say they are still waiting for the toxicology report before the finding will be released. Some alternative media sites are wondering about the reason for the long delay in the toxicology report.

Christian leaders need lesson from Jonah and Nineveh about America

On March 2, 2012 · 50 Comments

There is no political solution to America’s problem because it is a sin problem. Americans are choosing evil. A nation would not go down the path that America is going down if moral people were in control. In a democratic republic evil leaders can only rule if the majority of voters want them in office. There is evil taking place all over this land because the majority of people in America are either partaking in those evils, tolerating those evils, accommodating those evils, or they are doing nothing about those evils that prevail.

Some have said that the only way to turn America around is to convert unbelievers to Christianity. However, converting people to the American version of Christendumb is not going to bring change in America because Christendumb enables these evils and it’s part of the problem.

The prophetic end of the age is likely to occur around 2030 AD.

On February 24, 2012 · 54 Comments

I personally think we have about 20 years left before we complete the prophetic end of the age and enter the millennial reign of Jesus. If that is true, I think many things must happen in the next twenty years, so be very careful about what you buy into. If my timing is correct, and Jesus comes for the faithful Church prior to the tribulation, then at most there is ten to fifteen years left to work before the Rapture. If we are that close to the second coming, then the stage for some of the end time prophetic events should already be observable in the world.

GOP must develop workable agenda to restore the American Republic

On February 17, 2012 · 48 Comments

Americans now have about 8 months left to turn the direction of this country around or there will be economic collapse, depression and civil war in this country. Those that think business like usual from the GOP will save this Republic from the destructive agenda from those on the hard Left are dead wrong. The hard Left wants to make America conform to world socialism. Americans need to understand what is at stake if the hard Left stays in power. Liberty loving people can either get active in the political war playing out right now or they will experience a real civil war later.

Yeah, the situation is that grave. Those that want to take away the American sovereignty expressed best in our Declaration of Independence, those that want to take away individual liberties guaranteed by our Constitution, those that want to take God and guns out of heartland America and replace them with collectivist UN world mandates, those that want a statist federal government that will control every aspect of everyone’s lives, have about as much of a chance of accomplishing their agenda peacefully in heartland America as an invasion of alien body snatchers.

The Republican Party establishment continues to be predictable in the 2012 presidential nomination. Every time a conservative pops up the Republican Party establishment shows up to play Whac-A-Mole. Rick Santorum was the last conservative that popped up the hole. He is also the last conservative left in the game that has not been whacked, so you can be sure the Republican establishment will now focus their big hammers on him.

Mitt Romney is the only acceptable candidate for the Republican establishment because the establishment is as center left as he is. Does it even matter anyway who Republicans make their candidate? According to a poll, 20 percent of Republicans are now leaning toward voting for Obama. He is leading in the polls by large margins against all potential Republican candidates. The majority of Americans apparently want a socialist fascist state or they are totally dumbed down and brainwashed.

The case for the Muslim…errrr…I mean…the Mormon Antichrist

On February 4, 2012 · 95 Comments

Some that are claiming to understand Bible prophecy are making a living selling books, creating websites, and doing the talk circuits with conjecture that the Antichrist will be a Muslim. This kind of speculation is nothing new. The Antichrist in the past was said to be the Pope or at least the Papal system, and in the day of World War II Hitler represented the Antichrist to some. Toward the end of the 20th century there were full-page ads in the newspapers and ads on TV informing us the lord Maitreya was coming. Some Christians were pretty certain that he would be the Antichrist.

Today with the rising threat of Islam, the increasingly popular place for the Antichrist to arise is from Islam in the role of the Shiite Mahdi or 12th Imam. Since the time of the early persecutions, Christians that believed in a literal Antichrist figure have just loved to make contemporary antichrists fit the Antichrist figure of 2Th 2:8 and the Beast in the book of Revelation.

Dr. James McGrath: Christians should not expect literal second coming

On January 29, 2012 · 18 Comments

Dr. James F. McGrath of Butler University teaches courses on New Testament Language and Literature. However, anyone attending his courses really ought to investigate the heretical views that they will be taught at Butler University by professor McGrath.

Dr. James F. McGrath made this statement in bold on his own Exploring Our Matrex Blog:

It does not make sense for Christians to continue to expect a literal “second coming” of Jesus.

I also read online from his very own words that Dr. McGrath claims to be a reformed Christian in the same sense as a Reformed Jew. Reformed Jews are reformed for a reason. They no longer believe what the Jewish religion teaches. In other words, they are just cultural Jews. Dr. McGrath is reformed from the Christian faith that was once given, and now he makes his own Christian religion up as he goes along. His beliefs fits well with the other courses he teaches on science fiction.

Christians of America accept demonic choice for President in 2012?

On January 26, 2012 · 82 Comments

America claims to have over 80 percent Christians but yet most of them will accept Obama, Romney or Gingrich as their choice for President in 2012? The leaders that Americans are choosing reflects the nation and that is a very sad statement for America. It seems that most Christian conservatives in America talk about electing a Christian conservative but then promote and vote for people under control of the Devil. On the other hand, most of the liberal Christians in America just vote for whoever promises them the most material comforts even if he is the Devil.

At this point in the 2012 election, Americans have the choice between an obvious globalist Marxist, a progressive Mormon cult Bishop, or a manic narcissistic – possibly psychopathic – Third Wave – CFR – statist – globalist – wind bag that changes directions with the breeze. Many Evangelical Christian leaders in America that are supporting these people do not have even enough Christian discernment to see evil when they are looking at it.

Ezekiel 37 describing literal resurrection and return of Israel?

On January 19, 2012 · 105 Comments

I wrote a draft on Ezekiel 37 not too long ago but I deleted it thinking that what I wrote was just too far out of the box to be accepted. However, true to my loose cannon nature, I will try to sink some boats after all, even if that means I may sink my own. What I write is certainly not infallible doctrine so I just may have Ezekiel 37 wrong.

I do not think the usual interpretation of Ezekiel 37 given by most premillennial Bible prophecy teachers adds up. I have read some Bible prophecy teachers that make an effort to make Ezekiel 34 thru Ezekiel 39 sequential or say the prophecies of chapters 34-37 are being fulfilled or have been fulfilled with the return of the Jews to Israel today. However, other than a few of the land passages in these chapters that really does not appear to be the case.

The sons of Abraham need to split from Lot and form separate Union

On January 12, 2012 · 23 Comments

America is so divided on ideology that I do not see how it can remain one nation much longer. By 2013, no matter who is elected as President, almost half the nation will be so against the other half and those in power, that I believe there will be mass disobedience and violence.

I don’t think I need to explain the differences between the worldviews of liberals and conservatives, or Christian true believers and social Christians and non believers. Even Abraham and Lot who were two men of God had to split company because of squabbles between their many servants. How much more so will people in nations that have different worldviews and nothing in common, also need to split?

Our government had better start dealing with the threats against this country or we are going to wake up to an EMP one day soon. Iran is frantically building missile bases in Venezuela with the thought of having intermediate range nuclear tipped missiles that could easily reach the United States. Anyone who thinks we can allow Iran to gets nukes because they are no threat to America is out of touch with reality.

We do not even know that Iran does not have nukes already and even if they don’t, they could have nukes anytime they want. The time to deal with Iran was years ago and the time to deal with that tin horn dictator in Venezuela is now. Not only has the government of Chavez allowed Iran to build missile bases they are running drugs and destabilizing many nations in the Americas. What was the point of dealing with the other tin horn anti-American Communist dictators in Latin America if we are now going to allow their second coming?

The foundations are lain for a police state in America.

On January 3, 2012 · 53 Comments

Whether you know it or not, all the pieces are now in place for a police state in America. Some of it is already implemented and the rest is just waiting the command.

Obama has now signed the National Defense Authorization Act and it was Obama that insisted that it included the right for the military to incarcerate Americans without charge or legal recourse. The military can now hold American citizens for unlimited time in America without any charges being brought against them. I see no difference between this and what tyrannical nations do under a military dictatorship.

There is a knock on the door in the middle of the night and citizens just disappear (more likely they will break the door down). This act clearly violates the 6th, 7th, and 8th amendments to the Bill of Rights to the Constitution but they get away with it by saying it is an issues of national security.

Thor came to rule an area of the world rapidly going to the dogs!

On December 30, 2011 · 20 Comments

One thing I hate at the end of year is all those articles about the year in review. After all, I lived through the year, I do not think I need someone else to tell me what happened. However, people apparently like a summary of the year around New Years so I will not disappoint them. 2011 was just another year where the world continued to go to the dogs. End of Summary. Now to end the year on a lighter note I will also let this post go to the dogs.

My wife got me a dog for Christmas. He is a 14 month old German Shepherd with a dark brown coat and his name is Thor. He is near 90 pounds and looks a bit underweight and has some more filling out to do, so he probably will get well over 100 pounds. His head is huge like a wolf.  Yes, this Thor is the Norse god of thunder, at least when we brought him home some of my other dogs thought so, and Thor came with papers to prove his pedigree.

The real Christmas story is about God’s righteousness to save man

On December 23, 2011 · 92 Comments

Its Christmas time but I am sure that most people in the world do not understand why Christians celebrate this time of the year or what happened over 2000-years ago. Most people in world religions think that their eternal future depends on their own performance or in sojourning over and over again until they get it right and their soul reaches perfection through their own efforts.

However, It is not possible that imperfection can ever achieve perfection no matter how many attempts are made to get it right. Throughout human history the elite of the world have led people down deadly dead ends, or else they are sitting around contemplating themselves while taking handouts from the poor and doing nothing at all to help the human condition.

Savers lose and borrowers win under U.S. Federal Reserve policy

On December 16, 2011 · 14 Comments

Do you want to get a loan that will actually make you more wealthy? Do you realize that such loans are now available on home properties if you have good credit? Mortgage loan rates are now lower than the inflation rate and if you lock in a 30 year mortgage now your interest rate will most likely remain lower than the inflation rate for the foreseeable future. You will indeed become wealthier in the long run just because you took out a 30 year mortgage loan. Strange but true, thanks to the Keynesian insanity of the Federal Reserve Bank of America.

People with good credit can now get a thirty year mortgage on a home property for under 4 percent  In addition, you can deduct the interest on your federal and state income taxes. That means that most people will get at least a 25 percent tax write off for the loan interest. In other words, after the write-offs you will actually be getting that 30 year loan for less than 3 percent of the unpaid balance a year. That is less than present inflation and far less than long-term projected inflation.

Those optimistic about America’s future are not living in reality.

On December 10, 2011 · 59 Comments

America is a nation with a Constitution and a Bill of Rights designed to keep individuals free from government tyranny. However, it is obvious that most Americans have now given up these rights for the shackles of socialism and the facade of false security. The politicians that Americans elect still give lip service to our Constitution but their actions show that their heart is far from it.

Tyrannical control freaks are not supposed to be ruling Americans under our system of government but nevertheless it is very apparent they already are.

One successful terrorist attack brought America to its knees when Americans allowed this attack to open the door to a police state. Few see that the dangers from our own government can exceed the threat from the terrorists. For security, Americans have giving up their constitutional freedoms to the state. Senator Rand Paul is correct, the terrorist have won. They have turned Americans against Americas in some false hope that being a government snitch and allowing unlimited federal power will bring everyone eternal security.

The end of the year is upon us already and next year will start off with presidential primaries for the Republican Party nominee for President. After all these months of vetting (I hate that word but it seems fitting for politicians) candidates it looks like the Republicans end up with two losers. Romney could not even beat McCain in the 2008 run, and Gingrich did not even run in 2008 because he had too much baggage to carry. So what has changed?

It seems to me that we have another failure to get most Americans to critically think about the leaders that they will vote for. Americans love to give proper respect when the flag is shown and they like to sing God Bless America. However, it seems that most people in this country will do nothing to keep America the land of the free and the home of the brave or blessed by God. Most people living in America today are about as informed as Rosie, as deep as their flat TV screen and as obedient to God as ancient Israel. So why should God bless America?

Bible prophecy is not about paganism, false prophets or America

On November 30, 2011 · 27 Comments

People who study Bible prophecy usually want to know about things to come. Even so, there is only so much that God revealed to us in the scriptures about the future. When people go outside of inspired texts to find more truth or information they are going to be misled. Also, those people claiming direct revelation from God about the future should know that speaking lies and their own presumptions in the name of God puts them in grave danger. Those with itching ears might believe these false prophets but what they learn from them will not lead them into doing anything productive for Christ.

There is one thing certain. Bible prophecy will not conform to theories in Islam, paganism, presumptions of self anointed false prophets, or conjectures about America’s future.

The revived Roman Empire Beast emerges with Fascist Socialism

On November 26, 2011 · 44 Comments

With the events going on in Europe and the Middle East I have to wonder if we might be seeing the foundations of the revived Roman Empire being lain before our eyes.

The debt crises in Europe means that the EU countries will either have to withdraw from the EU and go back to being independent nations or that there will be a further consolidation of power in Europe. I think the latter will happen and a United States of Europe or new Roman Empire will emerge with a central government that will take away national sovereignty. I am betting that Europe will become more centralized and much more Fascist as Fabian Socialism causes many nations in Europe to go broke.

The old Roman Empire also included much of the Arab nations of the Middle East and North Africa. So, what we see going on with the Arab Spring uprisings could also fit in the big picture for a revived Roman Empire.

Revivals without relevent messages for Americans are dead on arrival

On November 16, 2011 · 27 Comments

I guess you should expect articles like this once in awhile because part of the title of this blog is “Church Trends”. In case you do not know, a Blog is a personal journal. It is where I get to publicly express my views on topics that come to my mind. People are free to read them or not read them, and to agree or disagree.  If this post upsets someone they need to realize that there are other views in the world besides their own.

A pastor claims that he wants a revival in his church but he says he cannot find any evangelist that will teach a clear message of salvation every night during the revival. My own view is that most real evangelism takes place outside of church building centered activities anyway. Revivals that just reach church goers and a few non attenders that came because they were pressured by friends or relatives usually do not bring revival at all.

2012: year that started events on earth many will desire to forget

On November 8, 2011 · 66 Comments

The year 2012 will probably prove to be the most important year in the recent history of the world. It will be the year that started events on earth that many will desire to forget. I do not believe 2012 will be the start of the last seven years of Bible prophecy; yet, many believers might start to think that the tribulation is upon us. It could get that bad.

I am sure Israel would like to put off a strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities hoping that the Obama administration will be replaced in 2013, but I do not think they believe that they can wait that long. Keep in mind that Iran will continue moving their critical nuclear weapons infrastructure far underground over the upcoming months.

By looking at the gains in the stock markets over the last couple of weeks one would think that the European debt crises was resolved. I cannot believe that people are that stupid so I think financial managers are really just gambling that others will bid up the price of stocks based on the recent European agreement. In other words, the 2000 point swings that we are seeing in the stock market in the last couple of months is due to speculators that are gambling on the rise or the fall of the stock markets and not on the fundamentals of the companies that sell stock in the market or the European debt. They know there will be other crises in Europe due to the debt but they are day traders that care little about tomorrow.

A unified conspiracy theory fit for Halloween

On October 29, 2011 · 32 Comments

Halloween is a good day for demonic conspiracy stories so I will present a unified conspiracy theory for your reading that explains most other conspiracy theories. This conspiracy itself may or may not have been conspired on a Halloween night in 1960. Finding real proof of the existence of this unified conspiracy theory will probably prove impossible because I cannot even find proof for well known conspiracy theories that will be interwoven within this unified conspiracy theory. In other words, if real proof of popular conspiracy theories cannot be documented don’t expect me to come up with any solid evidence for my unified conspiracy theory either. After all, in my theory, I think that the conspirators conspired to create the popular conspiracy theories in the first place, in order to divert everyone away from the real conspiracy.

I actually gave a hint about those behind this unified conspiracy theory just before Halloween in 2009 in my Obama Rosemary’s Baby? post.

Christians and Constitutional Conservatives already lost America

On October 26, 2011 · 59 Comments

I think there is a fundamental error in thinking among Constitutional Conservative Christians in America. Some Conservatives and Bible believing Christians in America think that they can just elect someone and make America back into the basically Christian Constitutional Republic that it once was. Nothing could be further from the truth. A nation gets the leader that God determines that they need or deserve. Constitutional Conservatives and Bible believing Christians have already lost the American Republic. There will have to be nothing short of a moral revolution to get it back and I can prove why.

The American Public School system has become little more than a humanist communist government indoctrination system. Youth that come out of our grade school system often do not even have the reading and verbal skills to fill out a job application, nor can many make change for a dollar. Seventy-five percent of high school graduates do not have the basic skills required to proceed to college.

Afro-Americans that refuse racism show whites their own integrity

On October 21, 2011 · 25 Comments

As a youth growing up in the 1950′s and 1960′s in a blue collar neighborhood on the east side of Buffalo N.Y., that was turning increasingly Afro-American, I know first hand what racism is. I grew up in racism and it was abundantly coming from both sides.

Blacks were not a big problem in the high school that I went to. My big difficultly with blacks in those days was not in school it was walking to and from school. I walked three miles through a black section of Buffalo to get to school and to get home. In my first and second year it was not a problem because I could walk with my two older brothers who happened to have the two biggest guys in the whole school as friends that also walked with us through the black section. After they graduated from high school I usually had to walk through the black section alone and I soon got into trouble because black youth were always stopping me hassling me for spare change that I would not give.

Koenig’s 2011 Coming Economic Collapse Caused by World Debt Update.

On October 18, 2011 · 34 Comments

At the end of this short post you will find a link to my well viewed The Coming Economic Collapse Caused by World Debt article. I first wrote this article about the dangers of an economic collapse caused by world debt about ten years ago. Since that time I have updated the article on a few occasions. My last update was in 2009 after the 2008 collapse. I just want to let you know that I just updated that article once again for 2011.

This article still averages over 5000 page views a month due to its ranking under certain keywords in Google. It gets more hits when it looks like another financial crises is about to hit us. With the debt crises going on in Europe the traffic to that article is stronger than average this month and if the European powers do not come to some agreement on Greece within the next week it could get heavy. In fact, I can pretty much determine the level of fear in the world about a debt default or economic crises by the number of views I get on that article.

Imagine evangelists missionaries and martyrs occupying the occupiers.

On October 15, 2011 · 35 Comments

There are many Christian teachers that teach that Christians should go in and occupy or possess the land. There are other Christians that want financial support to go into foreign lands to be missionaries. However, missionaries are needed right here and now in our inner cities. Other Christians think that they were called to be evangelists but they mostly evangelize the already evangelized.

To be honest. I have not encountered any Christians that want to be martyrs for Christ (Being martyred for religion seems to be a Muslim thing, it has something to do with hate for their own life, and the perks). Nevertheless, I am sure some Christians would become real martyrs for Christ if they try to evangelize some of these pagan radical flee baggers that are now occupying our cities.

One Second After, explains why America is not in Bible prophecy?

On October 11, 2011 · 63 Comments

If you want to know why the United States is not in Bible prophecy an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) weapon exploding high above the United States is probably the most likely reason and not the Rapture of Christians like some wishful thinkers like to believe. I have been writing about the U.S. vulnerability to an EMP for over five years. It all started with this Imminent Danger article. You can find my additional articles on EMPs under “Categories”, on the blog side bar.

The reason for this new post on the EMP danger is not to say the same things that I have said in other articles. The reason for this post is that I just read “One Second After”, by William R. Forstchen PhD. It is a novel about a local rural area in the western mountains of North Carolina trying to survive in the aftermath of an EMP attack on America.

Koenig’s perspectives on Bible prophecy and world issues, Oct 2011

On October 7, 2011 · 69 Comments

The silence on my last post had been rather deafening. The lack of views and response was probably because it was not about the end of the world or politics or the fall of this nation. How many people are still going to websites that were predicting that the Rapture would be on the Feast of Trumpets this year? Well folks, for you pre-trib premillennial Rapture believers the seventy years since 1948 have expired if you add the seven year period that is commonly called the tribulation. We are still here. Those teaching this were wrong.

They now may produce Mayan prophecies, Mahdi Antichrist, and Planet X theories but sorry…they will not appear here. I will quit blogging before I resort to posting unbiblical pagan presumptions just to attract readers. I do not make my living writing this stuff so I have no financial need to tickle anyone’s ears. I really do try to present a mix of subjects on this blog from within my premillenial Christian worldview and my perspective that the world stage is now being setup for upcoming biblical end time events.

The Pastor Has No Clothes – an in-brief perspective

On October 3, 2011 · 10 Comments

I recently read “The Pastor Has No Clothes”, by Jon Zens. I have to say right off that “The Pastor Has No Clothes” seems to me to be deliberately padded to add more pages so that it would be more acceptable as a book. It contains a few old and new essays by Zens that articulates pretty much the same story from slightly different angles and it also includes Zens response to excerpts in Eugene Peterson’s “The Pastor: A Memoir“, and a few other appendixes. The book is only 161 pages so the book is brief and literally could be your in-brief reading some morning.

Having said that, it does not take a long book to make the points that Zens makes. Basically those points are that the early Church was nothing like the pastor-centered churches and church building focused churches that are evident today. The book tries to make the case that Christendom needs to get back to the early Church model found in the New Testament.

Christians need to take a biblical stand, for Christ’s sake!

On September 27, 2011 · 80 Comments

First let me point out that Christ Jesus does not need us, so when I say in the title that Christians need to take a biblical stand for Christ’s sake, I am referring to the mission of the spiritual Body of Christ called the Church. Our Savior created the universe and He is perfect in spite of the Laodicean and aberrant Christianity that is largely following the world system and the ways of Satan.

Christ Jesus offers us a gift of salvation and a role in eternity with Him but what you do with that free gift is up to you. Some Christians need to take a biblical stand on the issues of our time in our world and in our churches or they are going to have nothing to offer Christ when we all appear before Him to report on what we did in our bodies, good or bad.

The time for procrastination is over if you are planning relocation

On September 21, 2011 · 63 Comments

Back in 2005 I relocated to Arizona and bought a house there because my wife was planning on starting a cash based Osteopathic practice in the area. Housing was way overpriced but if you wanted to live in Arizona you had no choice but to pay the price. I purchased a two year old house for $207,000 that the original owner had paid only $150,000 for just two years earlier. By 2006 I knew that my wife’s plans were not going to work out so I knew it was time to scale down and get out of Arizona before the economic crash that I knew was coming hit.

Communists intend to create a domestic crisis in America in 2012.

On September 16, 2011 · 23 Comments

If you are an American Libertarian or supporter of the Tea Party or even just a frustrated American of some other political spectrum don’t be deceived by the radical movement that is about to rear its ugly head against capitalism starting tomorrow on September 17th, in New York City and several other cities. The people pushing these mob action “days of rage” are some of the most radical Communists and America haters and Jew haters on this planet.

There will be leaders of unions involved and race baiters and radical environmentalists and anyone else that thinks they can use covetousness, hate, class war, and mobs actions to their own advantage. They claim that their actions will be peaceful but they have trained some involved to make sure that mob actions will lead to riots.

The West needs to see the present world realities

On September 13, 2011 · 31 Comments

It’s time that people in the West opened their eyes to the present world realities that they live in. The present economic threat to the West is caused by socialism, living beyond one’s means, high energy prices and trading with China. The present military and stability threat to the West is Islam. The primary religious threat to the West is not Islam, it is secular humanism, religious pluralism and New Age spirituality.

Most in the West will learn to find a job if the West stops paying people to do nothing, and stops giving people entitlements that they have not earned. The icing on the cake for not giving a lot of unearned assistance is that immigrants that will not assimilate into our Western Nations will either try a little harder to fit into the native societies and become more productive citizens or they will go back to where they came from.

Koenig’s perspectives on Bible prophecy and world issues, Sept 2011

On September 9, 2011 · 73 Comments

Its been ten years since the terrorist attack on 9/11/01 and we have been pretty fortunate that there has not been a successful WMD event in all that time. If you would have asked me in 2001, I would have told you that I thought that more mass casualty attacks were inevitable.

The reason they have not happened can be credited to our military and our intelligence agencies and the lack of sophistication of the terrorists. If you remember back in those days we were wondering if Russian built suitcase nukes were available to terrorists. Apparently they were not. The Russian general making the suitcase nuke claim was apparently just blowing smoke.

Free futurist premillennal Revelation commentary by Don Koenig

On September 5, 2011 · 51 Comments

The Revelation of Jesus Christ Through the Ages” by Don Koenig has been one of the most viewed free Revelation commentaries on the Internet. The first revision of this ebook Revelation commentary has now been completed. The link above will take you to the on-line index of the book. Don first wrote the original Revelation commentary in 2004. This Revelation commentary takes a futurist premillennial modified dispensational view of the events within Revelation. Don Koenig believes the events described in Revelation often through illustrations are literal events and that they should not be spiritualized to the mystical.

The spirit of darkness blinds Americans from seeing the true Light

On September 2, 2011 · 46 Comments

I hope you do realize that just changing the President in this country is not going to change the direction of this country for the better in any significant way. Political leaders of democratic republics pretty much reflects the inclination of the people that they represent. The latest presidents that we elected in America are just the symptom of the spiritual darkness that is engulfing most of the nation.

There has been increasing spiritual darkness in America for quite some time; this darkness can also be called the spirit of antichrist. I am not saying that the majority in this country now embrace the spirit of antichrist but this spirit of darkness is definitely taking over our land.

America is being dominated by Satanic black lights that are shining, humanism, Marxism, multiculturalism, revisionism, relativism,  evolutionism, religious pluralism, dominionism, idealism, collectivism, radical environmentalism, spiritualism, Islam, political correctness, tolerance, rebellion, greed, covetousness, laziness, class warfare, etc.

Deception is epidemic in America.

On August 30, 2011 · 27 Comments

Have you noticed that deception has become an epidemic in America? Deception is the rule of the day and most people buy into the deception because they can no longer discern truth from lies or they actually want to believer liars. For example the rhetoric that most whites are racists but blacks are not while black gangs beat white people in many cities in this nation. Or the lie that everyone wealthy got their money at the expense of others.

Deception is so ingrained into our American society today that I hardly know where to begin to even talk about it. Superman with his truth, justice and the American way was the ideal of Americans in the 1950′s, but the trend in America just some 50 years later is now lies, injustice and the deceptive way.

The EMP generation starts when power ends in America

On August 24, 2011 · 55 Comments

We are rightly concerned with the political and economic situation in America, but nevertheless, there is a very high likelihood that the failure of our national electrical grid and national infrastructures is what will get most of us killed within this decade.

The probability of a solar or nuclear electromagnetic pulse (EMP) occurring over America this decade is probably more likely than not. It is a scientific fact that an EMP can put America back to the infrastructure conditions of the 1800′s but trying to support ten times the population.

We should be aware that an EMP can happen at any time but most in America are either not aware of this threat or they are treating this threat to our society as if it were little more than science fiction.

Unemployment in developed nations solved by a shorter work week

On August 18, 2011 · 14 Comments

Do you realize that almost all countries in the world now have high unemployment? If one country finds a solution to unemployment in their nation it most likely will be at the expense of higher unemployment in other nations. China’s great industrial expansion in the last two decades should make that fact abundantly clear.

Industrialization of once largely agricultural societies like China and India have put out of business many manufacturing jobs in many nations in a very short period because with abundant cheap labor they can undersell them. The industrial workforce on our planet has almost double in a few decades and that is the reason for the high unemployment in the world.

China and India are relatively poor countries without environmental regulation burdens and social welfare job benefits. Because of this and because they have new modern factories with modern equipment they can provide manufactured goods for far less than the more advanced nations of the world. In fact, China is sucking up manufacturing jobs from the rest of the world as if it were a big black (red) hole.

After salvation, relations become the important thing for Christians

On August 16, 2011 · 32 Comments

I have been very frustrated with the ritual system that Christians call church. That was going to be the primary focus of this post today. Writing about this had been in the back of my mind since last weekend but thanks to my pastor’s sermon Sunday night I saw that I needed to keep things in proper perspective.

The most important thing in life after salvation is not getting everything in our churches done the way we think is correct, it is our relationships with others, especially with our eternal brethren in the Body of Christ.

My dissatisfaction had largely been because I think our evangelical churches have moved so far from the Biblical model that I was starting to wonder why I was still attending.

Some of my own gripes were and are:

Progressive Liberal race riots are predictable and inevidable

On August 12, 2011 · 29 Comments

Even though most media will not dare mention that many blacks are racists and that the latest riots are mainly race driven. It does not change the fact that these violent civil upheavals are race driven as well as the result of an amoral undisciplined people. These are people that largely grew up without fathers but instead were mentored by government and media Marxist social engineers. They were also mentored locally by a gang rap culture of drug pushing criminals.

Much of these ghettos are now in rebellion against their institutional keepers and the inmates want to attack all those that do not belong in their own mental ward. The Progressive Liberal race riots that are coming are because of the results of this institutionalized mass insanity. The riots are therefore predictable and inevitable.

The restrainer of 2Th 2:7 is not the Spirit filled Church

On August 8, 2011 · 172 Comments

One of the great controversial mysteries of Bible prophecy is the identity of the restrainer of 2Th 2:7. This issue came up in a recent post and I took the standard view given by most dispensational Bible prophecy teachers that the restrainer mentioned in 2Th 2:7 is the Holy Spirit within the Church. Since then I decided to do a more in-depth study on this passage and to try to think things through logically.

First let me give the passage in question in it’s context. I am using the American Standard version because I think verse 7 there is a bit more true to the Greek than the King James and it certainly is clearer. The key points for this post I have in bold.
