Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Salam Fayyad in Jerusalem on Tuesday for the highest-level meeting between the two sides in nearly 20 months, and the first ever meeting between the two men.

Fayyad, who will be leading a delegation that will include chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat, is expected to deliver a letter to Netanyahu calling for negotiations as long as Israel stops all settlement construction, accepts the June 5, 1967 lines as the basis of a future agreement and releases Palestinian prisoners held before the signing of the Oslo Accords in 1993. Israel will respond with its own letter later this week.

Barak: Israel made no promises not to attack Iran

Christian News

Israel has not made any commitment to Washington not to attack Iran's nuclear facilities during its negotiations with the West, Defense Minister Ehud Barak emphasized Tuesday morning. The defense minister has also stated that Israel did not believe the talks would lead to the desired solution, but added that he would be pleased to learn that he is mistaken. He said that the talks must lead to a clear outcome - a halt of Iran's nuclear program.

What has motivated Putin’s pro-Israel policy? …. Sharon was a big factor in improving Russian-Israeli relations … ... Netanyahu has invited Putin to Israel in June ... Russia’s oil giant Gazprom has signed a major gas deal with Israel …. Netanyahu and Romney have forged a very special friendship over 36 years … Netanyahu serving as one of Romney’s key Middle East advisors … Does this point to a Romney victory in November?

"The men who have done the most for God in this world have been early on their knees. He who fritters away the early morning, its opportunity and freshness, in other pursuits than seeking God will make poor headway seeking Him the rest of the day. If God is not first in our thoughts and efforts in the morning, He will be in the last place the remainder of the day." - E. M. Bounds
